"Default is Golden" is a photographic project created in 2022 in collaboration with Vincent Moro and published in Magma Magazine Issue 2, dedicated to the theme "System Failure." The series ironically depicts the dramatic effects of an inflationary crisis that has seen the rise in prices of essential goods, such as basic food items. It is a Still Life photography project that highlights the disastrous results of wild financial speculation that particularly characterized the year the project was made. "Default is Golden" aims not only to shed light on the economic difficulties faced daily by individuals but also raises broader questions about current political priorities and the social consequences of uncontrolled financial practices.
